The ghost paintings are personification of our memories, ghosts or shadows of our actions that pursue us, and from which we cannot escape. They are the cause and consequence of our actions (good and bad). The paintings come off the wall and stand independently, assuming the role of protagonist; they are not there for us just to see, their scale brings intensity to the ground they walk and force an interaction. Although there is a conceptual rigor that instructs the making process, they are still humorous entities that transform the space to a surrealistic game of apparitons where they seem to walk on cartoon-like hands or feet –that support the paintings–, erasing the seriousness of the technical aspect of the works, while making them determined to confront.
